How do you make money in kingdoms of camelot

Play Kingdoms of Camelot - the web's longest running hard-core social game. When thinking of income, don't try and set your tax rate at a permanent level. I find you get heaps more cash that way. Any of these posts or comments will be deleted immediately.

Mary has the idea. I do the same thing. Replace your tavern with a barracks. You will get more than enough gold via Raids. I've got over a billion gold in my main and hundreds of millions in my other cities. OK for this one many find it odd and think I am crazy. However I have over mil gold in my main city and have atleast 50 mil gold in each of every other city at the moment.

I rarely farm anyone so it's not obtained that way either. I have NO tavern at all in any of my cities. Not in any of my 5 cities do I have a Tavern. It is actually useless. Tear down the tavern and make a barracks.

The more barracks you have the faster your troops train and the more that can be qued up for training. Then set your Tax to 0. The lower your tax rate is the faster your idle population regenerates and the faster your happiness level rises. This means you can then levy or collect gold from you castle a lot more often.

When you knock the tavern down and set your gold to a 0, you will that your gold income is severely negative, however it doesn't matter as long as you continue to levy from your castle it will stockpile and build up.

That is all you need. You can also get more gold by selling stone cheap or ore and wood if you have an abundance of it like I do.

The higher your tax rate though the longer it takes for you to be able to levy from your castle and the longer it takes for your idle population to regenerate.

You DO NOT want this as you want to be able to que up your troops and build them faster. The end result is that the barracks are far more valuable to you in this game than that Tavern ever could be. Using Andres' strategy I am seeing over 1 hour to increase happiness back to Looks more like 2 hours since after 1 hour it has increased from 70 to Like the last person said.

The other benefit of these is that it raises your population to your limit. Which gives you more people to build army with. The amount that you will collect will depend on the size of your population and on your tavern level. This amount will be like 6X the amount that were getting in an hour before. Remember that when you click increase gold your happiness will drop 20 points. You keep doing this over and over. So in the time frame of an hour you have already collected gold 3 times.

I guarantee that the total amount will be more than 10 times what you use to make in an hour. With all the extra gold that you make you can use it to buy resources from the marketplace when you need them. WHat a great idea. Another advantage of this, is that with a higher happiness level, you'll have more population in your city, which means when you max out on a troop build, you can train more troops as well.

Kudos to Andy, and you for posting this. Just following the quests in the game and making sure your character gets full recognition for their title will raise your income level faster than anything. With each higher title comes and nice addition to the gold level. If you go in castle click on gold and drop happiness level you will get some. The level rises back anyway. You need this when your funds run low for buying. Its the only way to buy when you need stuff All the best.

I am new to the game. I have gotten so help from some very frieldly players. I amy having trouble getting the gold to get the stuff to get the scouts and pikemen. I raised taxes to 20 but I don't like that.

I built more cottages to raise pop. I've pretty well went by the quests but I have two days and some of those people on the chat are some ill-mannered blood thirsty wardogs. Heck I even upgraded my tavern. Now the quest tells me to Level up the barracks to 4.
